Goose/Duck/Pigeon Hunt Package
When you arrive to Buenos Aires, Gloria will meet
you and assist you with clearing customs and your
guns. Then it is a quick 3.5 hour in a comfortable
van with plenty of snacks and cold drinks to the
duck hunting area. You will be hunting in the Buenos
Aires province, near the city of Henderson, located
in the heart of the corn growing area. Upon your
arrival at the lodge at approximately 12:00 p.m.,
while you are settling in and unpacking, lunch will
be served. At 3:30 p.m. you will head out for your
first afternoon of Duck hunting. You will go hunting
for 2 afternoons and 2 mornings.
 A typical duck hunting day begins at 5:30a.m.
After you wake up, you will enjoy a delicious
homemade breakfast: eggs, bacon, toast, fruit,
coffee and juice. You will start your hunting
adventure at 6.30am. Your bird-boy will be waiting
for you and will have the decoys in place before
daylight. Daylight is around 7:40 a.m. You will have
plenty of shots at decoying and passing ducks from
your blind. We will stop shooting around at
11:00a.m., leaving time for some pictures and then
we will go to the lodge for lunch and a short nap.
You will head out for more duck hunting at 3:30p.m.
After dark we will be back at the lodge, where you
can take a shower and you will have time for story
telling and drinks before dinner.
After the second morning of Duck hunting you will
move to the goose hunting lodge a short 2 hour trip
near the city of Tres Arryos. A typical hunting day
will be the same as the ducks, except that you hunt
the Magellan and Ashy Head Geese in the mornings and
also pigeons or perdiz in the afternoons.
These are the best areas for each species. Many
companies offer both ducks and geese from one
location however, their duck hunting will not offer
you high volume duck hunts. With us you can easily
expect each hunter to shoot 25- 40 ducks in the
morning and 15 – 25 in the afternoon. Geese are
hunted in the mornings only and will reach an
average of 20 – 25 each hunter.
Groups are a minimum of 4 hunters. Maximum group
size is up to you. If your group is less than 4
hunters, we can combine you with other hunters to
form a group.
