2 full days of duck hunting + 2 ½ doves hunting
You will fly from USA to Cordoba international
airport, there Cintia or Rosina will be waiting for
you and will assist you clearing customs and your
guns. Then it is a quick 6 hours drive in a
comfortable van with plenty of snacks and cold
drinks to the ducks hunting area.
This kind of hunting takes place along the Paraná
River, in the Province of Santa Fe. This river is
the most famous in Argentina, and one of paradise
for the duck hunters and fishermen.
The estancia has five comfortable double bedrooms
with private bathroom, dining room, living room, and
bar. In the yard of the estancia, there is another
dining room used to enjoy typical Argentine asados
(barbecues) or grilled fish, usually caught by our
clients, just across the estancia.
A typical duck hunting day will begin at 4.30.
Breakfast will be eggs, bacon, coffee , fruit and
juice. After that the bird boys are ready to bring
you to your spot , walking in the night to be ready
to start shooting before the sunrise. The beautiful
landscape will be witness of an amazing hunting day.
Daylight is at around 7.30.You will have plenty of
shots at decoying and passing ducks from your blind.
We will stop shooting at 9.30 or 10. After that you
will have time to take some pictures and then go to
the Estancia to have lunch.
The menu in the estancia consists of a typical
angentine "asado" with the best of our beef!!! We
also have for our hunters a variety of typical
dishes of the area, including pickling brine ducks,
duck a la creme de moustard, and the best of the
Parana fish: roast dorado and grilled surubi.Besides,
we have a selection of the best argentine wines,
famous all around the world for the high quality of
them.
After you take a short nap, the hunting will
start again for 2.5 or 3 hours.
Besides, it is also available to make combination
to hunts partridge with our dogs in the afternoon,
or try to fish Dorado, "The tiger of Parana", that
it is really popular among fishing lovers. You can
go fly casting, spinning or trolling Dorado, or
simply try to catch it with bait.
After 2 amazing days In Santa Nora, you have
breakfast and you are ready to go to see the wing
shooters dream: Millions and millions of doves
flying together. La Santina is our doves lodge, just
3 hours from the ducks area. In La Santina lunch
will be waiting for you, and after you have a great
"asado" (Argentina BBQ) you are ready to go to
hunting all the afternoon. How many can you shoot?
All your shoulder can withstand.
In the next 2 days, typical Dove hunting day will
begin with wake up at 7:00 a.m. Breakfast will be
eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, and coffee. The drive to
the hunting fields will range from 10 minutes to 30
minutes. You will be in place and start non stop
shooting by 8:15 a.m.
We will have a break for lunch from 12 – 2 p.m.
Lunch will be the typical Argentina “Asado” that is
grilled Beef, Pork, Chicken and Sausage and all the
fixings. After eating this meal, you will want to
take a short nap! The shooting will start again
shortly after 2:00 p.m. and continue until you have
had enough or it gets dark. Either way, there will
be more doves than you could possibly shoot.
Back at the lodge, after showering and cleaning up
you will have time for story telling and drinks
before dinner. Dinner will be fantastic since it is
prepared by our locally famous chef.
This trip truly lets you experience the best hunting
that Argentina has to offer. We hunt the best areas
in Argentina for Ducks and then go to the best area
in Argentina for Doves. We will Duck hunt for 2 days
in the province of Santa Fe Then we will take a van
and travel to the Dove hunting area near Cordoba.
Hunters can expect to shoot 100 – 150 shells or more
per day at ducks and 1000 shells per day at Doves.
Many hunters shoot much more.
Groups are a minimum of 4 hunters. Maximum group
size is 10 hunters. Required to book your trip. If
your group is less than 4 hunters, we can combine
you with other hunters to form a group.
