  • Become a 1000 Dove Club Member!
In order to be recognized in the 1000 Dove Club, a hunter has to kill 1000 doves or more in a single day. Even novice shooters will be be able to down 1,000 doves in a day by the end of their hunting adventure!
 

In a ceremony, hunters who achieve this status will be placed on the permanent records of the Argentina Ducks & Doves 1000 Dove Club membership and will receive a special “1000 Dove Club Hat” in honor of this occasion.

1. What is the limit on Doves per day?
There is no limit!! They are considered an agricultural pest. Approximately 25 % of the crops are lost to these birds. In the Cordoba region alone there are over 35 million doves. The limits for the doves are how many your shoulder can

2. Can I bring Ducks or Doves back home?
Yes, however going through U.S. Customs with them can be a problem. Sometimes it results in having to dispose of them prior to re-entering the country. If you still desire to attempt to bring some home, be sure to bring a cooler with you.

3. What happens to the Ducks/Doves I shoot?
As many as you desire will be prepared for you to eat. The rest are given away to the bird-boys and local families. They are not wasted.

4. Is Argentina a safe place?
The government has recently gone through changes in an effort to stabilize the economy. The efforts appear to be working. Throughout the country it is business as usual in Argentina is a Democracy. At no times on my trips have I felt unsafe. However we always take reasonable precautions. We like to keep honest people honest.

5. What is the Currency exchange rate?
The value of the Argentina Peso fluctuates. Lately it has been approximately 3.5 peso’s to one U.S. Dollar. Personal purchases can be made in local stores and paid for with U.S. Dollars. The store keepers will calculate the exchange rate for you. However change will be made to you in peso. Credit cards are also taken at many stores.

6. Can bring my own gun to Argentina?
Bring your personal gun to Argentina is not any problem: before you come, you just have to give us some information about the gun, and we will fill in the papers for you. In all our prices we included the cost of the importation of 1 gun, if you want to bring a second gun you must pay an extra US $100 (that is for the police permission)

7. Can I rent a gun there?
Yes, sure. In every lodge we have guns for rent. We have Italian gun´s (Berettas and Benellis) available caliber 12 or 20.

8. How can I get there?
That depends what kind of hunting you are interested in and the place that you have to fly. To hunt just doves, or the combo doves and ducks, we recommend flying direct to Cordoba city. American airlines and Lan Chile has flights every day from different cities in the USA direct to Cordoba. If are you going to hunt just ducks, or the combos of ducks and goose, you have to fly to Buenos Aires. A lot of Airlines fly there every day.

In our price we do not include the airline tickets, but we will be glad to assist you with your choice of airline and the purchasing of your ticket. There is no cost for this service.

9. Are VISA’s or permits required for this trip?
Gun permits will be obtained when you arrive in Argentina at the Customs Agent. No Visa’s are required.

V.I.P. – The U.S. Customs agents will require that you have a FORM CF-4457 completed prior to your departure. It lists a description of your guns along with the serial numbers. (Don’t worry, your not registering them …this is a single copy form and you will have the only copy). This form proves that you owned these guns when you left the country. It will prevent you from paying duties on their value upon re-entering the U.S.A. You can do this at any U.S. Customs office prior to your departure.
