Your flight from the USA to Buenos Aires
will be on LAN airlines. They are the premier air carrier in
South America and are partners with American Airlines. So
don’t forget to give me you’re AA frequent flyer number.
Upon your arrival in Buenos Aires, Gloria will meet you
and assist you with clearing customs and your guns. Then it
is a quick 3.5 hour drive in a comfortable van with plenty
of snacks and cold drinks to the duck hunting area. You will
be hunting in the Buenos Aries province, in the heart of the
corn growing area. Upon your arrival at the lodge 12:00
p.m., while you are settling in and unpacking, lunch will be
served. At 3:30 p.m. you will head out for your first
afternoon of Duck hunting.
A typical hunting day will begin with wake up at 5:30
a.m. Breakfast will be eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, coffee and
juice. You will depart at 6:30 a.m. Your bird-boy will be
waiting for you and will have you and the decoys in place
before daylight. Daylight is around 7:40 a.m. You will have
plenty of shots at decoying and passing ducks from your
blind. We will stop shooting around 11:00 a.m., leaving time
for some pictures and then back to the lodge for lunch and a
short nap. Wake up will be at 3:00 p.m. and you will head
out for more duck hunting at 3:30 p.m. After dark it’s back
at the lodge, where after showering and cleaning up you will
have time for story telling and drinks before dinner.
